Description:  This is the latest 1978 revision of  an Operation and Test Data Manual for the Merc-O-Tronic  Model 98 Ignition Analyzer.  These analyzers were produced into the 1970's and were widely used for testing ignition coils, condensers, diodes, armatures, field windings, selenium rectifiers, timing, etc. on Magnetos, Lawn Mowers, Tractors, Automotive, Marine Engines, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles, etc. The manual is reproduced in color same as the original.  It is 152 pages long, including the latest specifications on equipment that is not included in the earlier versions being offered elsewhere.  Please enlarge the gallery images above to view the Table of Contents for the coil and condenser specification section, select pages, and to view the quality of the manual. About This Manual:    This is a high quality reproduction manual which has been scanned with a high resolution scanner.  Each page is then digitally edited in Photoshop to remove grease marks, fingerprints, writing, and other imperfections that the original manual may have had.  It is then printed on 24 lb heavy paper and 65 lb cardstock for the covers with a 600 DPI LaserJet printer.  The result is a clean and durable manual which many times is better than the original and should last many years in your shop.
